Clinical Trial of proGsterol effects on NASH and Metabolic Syndrome has Been Started:
Several clinical trial studies had been carried out in different regions to investigate efficacy and safety of proGsterol in pre-diabetic and type II diabetic patients. The clinical trials results demonstrate that this dietary supplement is not only effective on reducing blood sugar but also has other health benefits. Among these advantages, preventing diabetes, improving lipid profile, and weight loss can be mentioned.
On the other hand, researchers were fascinated to find out that results showed another effect of proGsterol, NASH (Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis) treatment.
Therefore, it has been decided to carry out another clinical trial in Iran at Tehran Heart Center with partnership of Vira Rahesh Pharmed Co., and Cardiovascular Disease Research Institute of TUMS to investigate efficacy of proGsterol on patients with NASH complication. This study has been started and will be completed on March 2024.
